Refund Policy (effective 2026-10-06, before the correction)

Before the correction. This is the refund policy in effect from 2026-10-06 as it read until the correction of 2026-10-25, which removed the sentence saying that ads are shown again after a refund. The refund conditions, periods and procedure did not change. See the current refund policy.

This is an English translation of the Korean refund policy (환불정책). If the two versions differ, the Korean version prevails.

This refund policy applies to Remove Ads sold on Chord to MIDI (one-time payment of ₩6,600, VAT included).

Summary

• Within 7 days of the payment date: a full refund, whatever the reason and whether or not you've used it.
• After 7 days: a refund within 30 days of the payment date if a defect in the service stops it from working properly and it can't be fixed, and within the periods set by law if the service isn't provided as described, advertised or agreed.

Withdrawal within 7 days (full refund)

Under Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (the "E-Commerce Act"), you can withdraw your purchase (청약철회) within 7 days of the payment date, and the full amount is refunded. We don't ask for a reason.

Remove Ads is a digital service applied to your account as soon as you pay. The E-Commerce Act allows withdrawal to be restricted for digital content once its supply has started, but Chord to MIDI doesn't apply that restriction: within 7 days you get a full refund even if you've already used Remove Ads.

The 7-day withdrawal period is guaranteed by law and is never shortened.

Refunds after 7 days

• Defects: within 30 days of the payment date, we refund if a defect in the service stops Remove Ads from working properly and we can't fix it.
• Not as described or agreed: if Remove Ads isn't provided as described, advertised or agreed, you can withdraw within 3 months of receiving it, or within 30 days of the day you learned or could have learned of this (E-Commerce Act, Article 17(3)).

A refund for a simple change of mind is possible only within 7 days of the payment date.

We may ask for more information to confirm that you are the person who paid.

Processing and timing

1. When we receive your request, we check the payment.
2. We cancel the payment through Toss Payments within 3 business days of receiving your request.
3. For card payments, the cancellation or refund appears according to your card company's schedule; for easy-pay services, according to that service's schedule.
4. We tell you the result by email.

If we delay a refund, we pay interest for the delay at the rate set by the Enforcement Decree of the E-Commerce Act. We never charge a penalty or claim damages because you withdrew a purchase.

After a refund

When the refund (payment cancellation) is complete, Remove Ads is removed from the account and ads are shown again.

Account deletion and refunds

Deleting your account also removes Remove Ads from it. If you want a refund, asking before you delete your account lets us confirm your purchase faster. Even after deleting your account, you can still get a refund within 7 days of the payment date; you'll need to give us your order number or payment details.
