This is an English translation of the Korean notice (공지사항). If the two versions differ, the Korean version prevails.
Advertising and Remove Ads changes
Announced 4 November 2026 at 23:00 Korea time (KST, UTC+9)
From 4 December 2026 at 23:00 Korea time (KST, UTC+9), selected Chord to MIDI pages (the tool, guide, FAQ and about pages) will display ads, and Remove Ads — 364 days will become available. All tool features remain free. Until launch, ads and new Remove Ads purchases remain unavailable.
The previously announced unlimited-duration offer of KRW 6,600 / USD 5 is being replaced with a one-time payment of KRW 3,300 (VAT included) or USD 2.49 for 364 days of ad removal from payment approval. This change aligns the product with our payment provider's permitted service period (less than 12 months). There is no automatic renewal or automatic charge. After expiry, you can purchase another 364 days at the price shown then. The payment result and your account page show the start and expiry date and time. Paying in US dollars is offered on the English pages while payment by PayPal is available there; until then Remove Ads is sold in won only.
With updated advertising consent, eligible pages will show Plugin Boutique affiliate banners. If you purchase through an affiliate link, we may receive a commission. Visitors who decline will see the A-ADS fallback as described in the updated Privacy Policy. While signed in with an active Remove Ads entitlement, you will see neither provider's banners. The existing refund conditions (a full refund within 7 days of payment, and the rest) remain unchanged.
Amended documents and when they take effect
Because the change includes something that can be unfavorable to users (the period of Remove Ads) together with changes to who receives personal information and why, it is announced 30 days ahead under Article 3(4) of the Terms and Section 14(2) of the Privacy Policy. Until then the current documents apply, and this notice and the earlier documents stay available afterwards.
